McGillivray & Co. CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) was founded in 2022.  We are a boutique firm primarily serving small businesses in the Okanagan Valley. We put our clients first and will work earn your trust as your business advisor. At McGillivray & Co. CPA, we are more than routine annual filling, we believe in crafting relationships with small business owners and providing financial clarity for your personal and business success.

Ellece McGillivray, CPA

I was born in Jamaica, earning my Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies in 2008. In 2009, I moved to Kelowna to attend Okanagan College where I completed a Business Administration Diploma in Accounting in 2010 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2018.  I received my Chartered Professional Accountant Designation in 2022.

I have over six years of experience in public practice  where I worked to help my clients achieve their financial goals. I have worked with clients in many industries including healthcare, skilled trades, professionals, auto dealerships, agriculture, real estate and manufacturing.

I believe it is important to give back to my community and support programs that will make a difference in the lives of people in the Okanagan. I have served as the Treasurer of the Board of the Okanagan College Alumni Association. 

Outside of work, Drew and I enjoy skiing, hiking, and spending quality time with our three beautiful children.

Drew McGillivray, CPA, CA

I was born and raised in Summerland. In 2007 I returned to the Okanagan after seven years in Vancouver where I had been working in a mid sized accounting firm, earning my Chartered Accountant designation in 2006.   Most of my public practice experience is tax and small business.  Currently I’m also working at the Okanagan School of Business at Okanagan College teaching accounting and tax.

Outside of teaching and spending time with the kids, I  enjoy reading, baseball and going for long walks in our beautiful Valley.
